The path to membership

Three steps from candidate member to DIAZ member

  1. Step 1: Register and take part in DIKLATSAR

Fill in the form with a photo of your face and sign the statement online — you are recorded as a Candidate Member straight away. Pay the registration fee by bank transfer and upload the proof; once the committee has checked it, your ID Card is emailed to you. Then take the basic education and training that equips every member, including the mountain-and-forest knowledge each member must have.

  2. Step 2: Become a member

After you are declared to have passed DIKLATSAR, you are inducted as a member: your member number and digital member card are emailed to you. Until you receive an eagle name you are a Junior Member; with an eagle name you become a Full Member.

  3. Step 3: Choose a specialization

Every member is free to choose a specialization — more than one, without restriction.
